Likely of French origin, this piece reflects the devotional craftsmanship of the late 19th to early 20th century, with finely worked metal ornamentation and a molded and gilded wooden base in Rococo revival style. The radiant metal halo and dramatically modeled details make this a perfect addition to any home or chapel altar, or sacristy.
