This beautiful antique Catholic sick call set is designed for administering the sacrament of Extreme Unction, or Anointing of the Sick, in a home. Crafted from solid oak, the set features a finely detailed crucifix with a cast metal corpus of Christ and an “INRI” plaque at the top.
Below the crucifix is a framed print of Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, mounted on the front of a hinged compartment. This compartment holds a beautiful paten, silver spoon, and glass holy water bottle, which are some of the items needed for the sacrament. Two candle holders are mounted on the top of the box, intended for use during the rite.
Both a sacred object and a collectible heirloom, this piece reflects the deep spiritual traditions of Catholic households. Ideal for display in a home altar, devotional space, or collection of religious antiques.
