This exquisite maniturgium and first stole combo is available exclusively from Via Providence. They are made and embroidered by hand to compliment the richness and joy or priestly ordination. 

Customization with the name and date of ordination is available. Your name will be printed on silk and that silk will be applied to your maniturgium and first stole. Please note: your name will be printed on silk and that silk piece with your name will be embroidered to your maniturgium and first stole. Your name and date of ordination will not be embroidered.

In the months leading up and during Ordination season we do our best to stay ahead of orders. This means we often have maniturgium and first stoles stitched up, in stock, and ready to ship. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you are concerned about your items arriving in time for your Ordination. Though planning ahead is always preferred, we can usually accommodate rush orders during these times and we are happy to expedite as much as we can.

About the Maniturgium
The maniturgium is the linen cloth a priest’s hands are bound with after the bishop anoints them at his ordination. Traditionally the maniturgium is given to the new priest’s mother at his first Mass. She keeps it her entire life and is buried with it in her hands as a witness of her gift to Christ and His Church.
About the First Stole
The First Stole is used by a new priest when he hears Confessions for the first time after being Ordained. Traditionally the First Stole is given to the new priest’s father who keeps it his entire life and is buried with it in his hands as a witness of his gift to Christ and His Church.
