Customization with the name and date of ordination is available. Your name will be printed on silk and that silk will be applied to your maniturgium. Please note: your name will be printed on silk and that silk piece with your name will be embroidered to your maniturgium. Your name and date of ordination will not be embroidered.
In the months leading up and during Ordination season we do our best to stay ahead of orders. This means we often have maniturgium stitched up, in stock, and ready to ship. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you are concerned about your maniturgium arriving in time for your Ordination. Though planning ahead is always preferred, we can usually accommodate rush orders during these times and we are happy to expedite as much as we can.
About the Mantirgium:
The maniturgium is the linen cloth a priest’s hands are bound with after the bishop anoints them at his ordination. Traditionally the maniturgium is given to the new priest’s mother at his first Mass. She keeps it her entire life and is buried with it in her hands as a witness of her gift to Christ and His Church.
